New Card Preview: Everflow Eidolon

Posted in News on by

Tuskin Sporelord, Lysian shard, and Lastly Toorgmai Mender. All of these cards have been played in parts of decks but now with Everflow and Behemoth it seem even better. The list below is my first try for a UN life gain deck

3 Toorgmai Mender

3 Wegu, the Ancient

3 Oros, Deepwood’s Chosen

3 Everflow Eidolon

2 Tuskin Sporelord

3 Shardplate Behemoth

2 Lysian Rain

3 Howl of Xith

2 Scythe of Chiron

2 Dysian Siphon

2 Ancestral Echoes

2 Lysian Shard

The list is definitely powerful and like I said before you really get a lot more out of your pump spell than ever before with the Everflow Eidolon.  Being able to hold a board position and be able to slam down must answer threat is what this deck is all about. This deck is powerful showing off what Uttera has to offer to the world of Solis

I wanted something that felt more tribal for plants and this is the second list that i came up with. We add Guardian to help thin out the deck making our draws better. Heart tree is very fun to copy and just to keep your high heath creatures alive. Ancestral Echoes seems to be the most interesting card for me because of the little life that it gives and making Behemoth attack and heath big because all it cares about is it’s heath pool.  Everflow also gaining four life over two turn seems good and with lvl 2 and higher gaining eight over two turn is great.

There you guys go, Everflow Eidolon is going to make a splash and I can’t wait to see and hear about all the crazy decks that this card is going to be spotted in. Don’t forget that Wegu is Life, Wegu is Love. [You do not have to play Wegu for this card to look good.]

Happy Brewing Guys

So if I paired this with Heart Tree. The regen would trigger at the start of every turn. That would count towards life gain. What if the Eidolon had full health? Would it still “gain life” from regen?

    Oooweeeguuu. Oweeeeeeguuu.

Alternatively: “THIS IS STRICTLY BETTER THAN BEAR OMG POWERCREEP”

So, like, how does this tree attack? I get Wegu because when it gets big enough, it just stands up from the ground and stomps your face in. Does the tree shoot Godzilla breath from its mouth or something?

The art on the card reminds me of Princess Mononoke, so I would infer that the plant spirit comes out and kills stuff. Alternately, Godzilla tree is always a possibility.
