Since there is a lot decks using creatures spawning from graveyard (immortal echo, Necromancer etc), or spawning to available empty spaces (Stinging invocations, ether wolves etc)  why don't we have more cards that can mess with your opponent's field? (such as phythobomb or Ariadne's spiders)?

Here is my suggestion:-

Alloyin

Sonic Minelaying (Spell)

lvl 1 -Put up to three 0/1 Sonic Landmine lvl 1 in you opponent empty lanes at random.

lvl 2 -Put up to three 0/1 Sonic Landmine lvl 2 in you opponent empty lanes at random.

lvl 3 -Put up to three 0/1 Sonic Landmine lvl 3 in you opponent empty lanes at random.

Sonic Landmine: Mine. (Mine/Creature)

lvl 1: When Sonic Landmine is replaced, the creature replacing it get-4 attack. When Sonic Landmine is destroyed, adjacent creatures get -2 attack

lvl 2: When Sonic Landmine is replaced, the creature replacing it get-6 attack. When Sonic Landmine is destroyed, adjacent creatures get -3 attack

lvl 3: When Sonic Landmine is replaced, the creature replacing it get-8 attack. When Sonic Landmine is destroyed, adjacent creatures get -4 attack

Of course, the same idea can be used for other factions:

Tempys

Call the Claymore (Spell) Same as above but summons up to three 0/1 Scalding Claymore instead of Sonic Landmine in the opponent empty lanes

Scalding Claymore: (Mine/Creature)

lvl 1: When Scalding Claymore is replaced, the deal 3 dmg to the creature replacing it. When Scalding Claymore received damage, deal equal the damage to the player.

lvl 1: When Scalding Claymore is replaced, the deal 6 dmg to the creature replacing it. When Scalding Claymore received damage, deal equal the damage to the player.

lvl 1: When Scalding Claymore is replaced, the deal 8 dmg to the creature replacing it. When Scalding Claymore received damage, deal double the damage to the player.

You get the idea..The same concept can be used for Uterra and Nekrium as well.

Perhaps for Uterra Poison effect. (eg: Malice Growth (spell)   lvl 1: 0/1 Poisonous Sapling. (Plant)  If replaced, the creature replacing it get poison 3. When Poisonous Sapling is on the field, player get poison 1.)

For Nekrium maybe life drain or epidemic effect. (Ritual of Decay (spell) e.g lvl 1:0/1 Totem of Decay (Totem/Creature). when replaced, the creature gain, "when a creature dies, this get -3/-3". When Totem of Decay is destroyed adjacent creatures get -1/-1.)

What do you think?

I remember having a similar idea of spawning tokens to opp field.  It would be funny if stuff like nefrax or grave pact would become more popular just to get rid of mines :P  On paper it doesn't seem too oppressive, but you'd have to see in terms of balance.  I havent really solidified a full card, but Im playing around with the idea of devolving cards on your field as a cost for something awesome.  Or maybe devolving one card to level another.

So what's your idea with the factions?  It can only be played in that pair of factions?  Gosh seeing a lvl 1 arelis kill a lvl 3 randomly would be so disgusting xP  Mithras is cool, but also kinda terrifying.  Could be another enabler for marty.
