An idea for an Alloyin cards I thought up, surely otherpowered though. Maybe should be restricted to Alloyin creatures.

Deploying Ground (Structure)

Level 1: Whenever a creature enters this lane, discard a card and level it.

Level 2: Whenever a creature enters this lane, you may have an additional action.

Level 3: Whenever a creature enters this lane, draw a card, you may have an additional action.

You can call me Eldros. Feel free to send me untimed challenge at EldrosKandar for pseudo phantom draft. (List of test drafters)

I had another card Idea. I like the ability to adapt a card to different situations, so I thought of the card

Q, The anomaly:

Rank 1: (4/4) When this card enters play choose either Q, the fast, Q, the bold, or Q, the protector of the next level to put into your discard pile. This choice is hidden from your opponent.

Q, the fast
Rank 2: (9/3) Fast When this card enters play choose either Q, the fast, Q, the bold, or Q, the protector of the next level to put into your discard pile. This choice is hidden from your opponent.
Rank 3: (15/5) Fast

Q, the bold
Rank 2: (8/8) Breakthrough When this card enters play choose either Q, the fast, Q, the bold, or Q, the protector of the next level to put into your discard pile. This choice is hidden from your opponent.
Rank 3: (16/16) Breakthrough

Q, the protector
Rank 2: (6/15) While this card is in play, all allied creatures get (+0/+2) and gain Regen 1 When this card enters play choose either Q, the fast, Q, the bold, or Q, the protector of the next level to put into your discard pile. This choice is hidden from your opponent.
Rank 3: (9/21) While this card is in play, all allied creatures get (+0/+5) and gain Regen 3

What do you guys think about adaptive leveling?

Here's one that I came up with real quick in another thread here. I haven't been following this thread closely, so someone else could have totally suggested something like this already.

For legal purposes, I totally agree to the following terms:

Unsolicited artwork, story lines, character developments and other intellectual property (collectively “work”) received by Stone Blade Entertainment (hereafter "SBE") is considered a gift of all the donor’s rights, title and interest in and to the Work (including copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights) which Work is given to SBE for no consideration, and becomes the property of SBE. SBE is in no way responsible to pay any transfer fees, licensing fees, royalties or any other consideration to the donor.

Based on the above understanding, I hereby submit the enclosed Work.

Now that that part is over with… here's the card:

Quartermaster (or some such awesomer name)
Alloyin Structure
Level 1: Activate-Place a card from your hand underneath Quartermaster if there isn't already one there.  Activate-Play the card underneath Quartermaster as if it were played from your hand.  This counts as one of your actions for the turn.
Level 2: Activate-Place a card from your hand underneath Quartermaster if there isn't already one there or replace the card underneath Quartermaster with a card from your hand.  Activate-Play the card underneath Quartermaster as if it were played from your hand.  This counts as one of your actions for the turn.
Level 3: Activate-Place a card from your hand underneath Quartermaster if there isn't already one there or replace the card underneath Quartermaster with a card from your hand.  Activate-Play the card underneath Quartermaster as if it were played from your hand.  This does not count as one of your actions for the turn.

+1

I absolutely love that card. I even think Quartermaster is a perfect title for it.

Rank 3: When a creature in this space dies the first time, return it to the field.

Siphoning Thrall:

Rank 1: 3/3 When this creature dies, you gain life equal to its health and your opponent loses life equal to its power.
Rank 2: 6/6 ""
Rank 3: 10/10 ""

Tempys

Fling:

Rank 1: Destroy a creature you control. Deal damage equal to its power to target creature or player.
Rank 2: Discard a creature card in your hand. Deal damage equal to its power to target creature or player.
Rank 3: Discard a creature card in your hand, and destroy any number of creatures you control. Deal damage equal to their combined power to target creature or player.

Chaos Mage:

Rank 2: 10/10 ""
Rank 3: 14/14 ""

Uterra

Birthing Thicket (structure):

Your Tempys cards are quite some original design. And I'm liking the flavor and tension brought by "Diminishing Arsenal". Great cards at level 1, but still ok at level 3, and that in a faction which is nearly all about leveling. Would synergize with the Steelshaper I guess.

So I got to thinking about how weak the shapers are in the current card pool, and I started to think of what types of deck they would be good in. Here is what I came up with.

Self-Mutilation (Spell): (Nekrium)
Rank 1: Choose a card in your discard pile and reduce its level by one. Deal 5 damage to your opponent.
Rank 2: " " 8 "
Rank 3: " " 15"

Agony (Spell): (Tempys)
Rank 1: Choose a card in your discard pile and reduce its level by one. Deal 2 damage to 2 creatures. (or 4 to 1)
Rank 2: " " 4 "
Rank 3: " " 8"

De-evolution Beam (Spell): (Alloyin)
Rank 1: Choose a card in your discard pile and reduce its level by one. Reduce a rank 2 card in an opponents discard pile to rank 1
Rank 2: " 3 to rank 2 "
Rank 3: " 3 to rank 2 " and take an additional turn this hand.

Fertilization (Spell): (Nekrium)
Rank 1: Choose a card in your discard pile and reduce its level by one. All of your creatures in play gain regen 1.
Rank 2: " " 3 "
Rank 3: " " 5"

Those would be the spells to increase the number of rank 1 cards in your hand to make the shapers more effective. Then, also I think there need to be more powerful level 1 cards.

Example Creature:
Rank 1: 9/9 Breakthrough (or Move 1-3)
Rank 2: 8/8
Rank 3: 7/7

This would make it more appealing to use the previous spell cards as well.
What do you guys think?

Been too long since people have posted their own cards.  I guess we're all still digesting the large in-flow of new cards from the release of the starter decks.

Orbital Bombardment Strike (Alloyin Spell)
Rank 1: Randomly target 3 spaces.  Destroy all creatures in those spaces.
Rank 2: "" 5 spaces.  "" and structures
Rank 3: "" 7 spaces.  "" "" and you may take an additional action this turn

The idea behind this card is the gamble that it can hit your spaces as well as your opponent's, some of which might even be empty.  I just imagine a ship in orbit raining down fire on given coordinates, but it's not accurate enough to hit specific spaces or for your own people to get out of the way.

Hope nobody came up with that design yet.

Alloying

Gathering Knowledge

Spell

Rank 1: Discard a card and level it.

Rank 2: Discard a card and level it, you may play an additional card this turn.

Rank 3: Choose a card in your hand and level it, you may play an additional card this turn.

Trusty Steed
Structure

Activate-You may Move a creature you control in this Lane to an adjacent Lane 1/2/3 spaces away.  Any Structures currently in that Lane are discarded and Trusty Steed is then Moved to the same Lane.

Having a card that Moves your creatures around isn't novel, but I liked the idea of a Strucutre being "attached" to a Creature to a certain degree.  It could open up the door for equipment and vehicle-style cards.

It might be interesting if the Mole gains Move 1 from the activation as well… I can imagine it burrowing to another lane once the opponent tries to defend against the current one.

Also, "Dreadclaw Mole" is an awesomely hilarious name. :D

I quite like the idea of a card that cares about other cards of the same name.

Friendly Whelp: Tempys Creature
Level 1: 5/5; Friendly Whelp has Move X where X is the number of other Friendly Whelp creatures in play
Level 2: 10/10; Friendly Whelp has Move X where X is the number of other Friendly Whelp creatures in play
Level 3: 17/17; Friendly Whelp has Move X where X is the number of other Friendly Whelp creatures in play

Demonic Bargainer [Nekrium Creature]

Level 1: 6/6 Activate, pay X life – Heal X damage from Demonic Bargainer.

A pleasure doing business with you.

Level 2: 12/12 Compulsion (While this card is in your hand you cannot play cards without Compulsion.)

Activate – Heal all damage from Demonic Bargainer then lose that much life.

So good to see you again!

Level 3: 18/18 Compulsion (While this card is in your hand you cannot play cards without Compulsion.)

Irreplaceable (This creature cannot be overwritten by playing another creature into this lane.)

At the beginning of each player's turn heal all damage from Demonic Bargainer then lose that much life.

Come now… You wouldn't turn away an old friend, would you?

In particular, the Compulsion mechanic is very interesting. I there is a lot of interesting design-space related to compulsion.

——————

I like Bargainer, but here is another direction they could go with the mechanic.

Demonic Contract [Nekrium Spell]

Level 1: You may play two additional cards this turn

Level 2: Compulsion (While this card is in your hand you cannot play cards without Compulsion.)
             Lose 15 Life

Level 3: Compulsion (While this card is in your hand you cannot play cards without Compulsion.)
             Lose 25 Life
